Display Guidelines for KVM Switches in Windows 7

This paper provides guidelines for Independent Hardware Vendors (IHVs) of Keyboard, Video, and Mouse (KVM) devices. By following these guidelines, IHVs can provide an optimal user experience in Windows 7 with display devices that are connected to KVM switches. This paper also lists a set of specific requirements and recommendations to IHVs on the expected behavior of KVM switches in Windows 7.
