Already a global presence in the industrial design field, Doosan Infracore seeks to become one of the top infrastructure support and construction equipment companies in the world. Doosan Infracore, a large-scale Korean manufacturer, wanted to enhance its computer-aided engineering capabilities by adopting a High-Performance Computing (HPC) cluster. The company initially favored Linux but instead chose a cluster based on the Windows HPC Server 2008 operating system because of its lower costs and excellent performance. Doosan Infracore uses Windows HPC Server 2008 to speed engineering research and improve product quality.
