Source: IBM
The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) is an executive agency of the UK Department for Transport employing 6,500 people and collecting £5 billion in annual revenues. DVLA wanted to deliver higher levels of customer service at lower cost. The DVLA has opened up new online channels for vehicle licensing that offer better customer access and choice round the clock. Developed in partnership with IBM, the innovative Electronic Vehicle re-Licensing (EVL) process makes it easier for motorists to comply with vehicle licensing legislation.
