E. on IS Uses Compuware Vantage to Ensure Smooth Migration to New Data Centres
Source: Compuware
E.ON IS, the IT service provider for the E.ON Group, previously hosted applications from servers at a number of data centres located across the UK and Europe. To combat rising power and maintenance costs, E.ON IS was looking to consolidate all of its servers into group data centres. However, the team was keen that application hosting performance should operate without disturbance during the move, and E.ON IS needed an application baselining solution which would allow the performance of key applications to be measured at both the current and new data centre locations. After assessing vendor solutions in the UK and Germany, E.ON IS chose Compuware's Client Vantage solution because it could monitor a large number of applications and had proven capability.
