e-Procurement - Strengthening the Indirect Supply Chain Through Technology Globalization

e-Procurement focuses on several innovative solutions with a single global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system as a foundation. An Internet negotiations tool was introduced to achieve additional cost savings and negotiation efficiencies. This paper outlines the challenges, improvements, and results for the e-Procurement program that transformed the Intel IDM organization into a world-class supply-chain benchmark.
