El Paso Independent School District Gets Greater System Performance and Reliability With Mainline Solution
Source: Mainline Information Systems
The El Paso Independent School District (EPISD) reflects the location, common cultural history; their most recent IT issue was related to an upgrade of the Prologic TEAMS software, a widely used comprehensive K-12 school administrative application that manages student and business data in a centralized Web-based system. Their challenges are low system performance, frequent down time, slow system response time and difficulty in restoring data. To overcome these challenges they chose Mainline Information Systems. They recommended a server consolidation and virtualization solution to improve productivity through data consolidation, availability, performance and scalability using IBM BladeCenter H Chassis with 10 IBM HS 22 and HS 12 Blade servers, the IBM DS 3400 SAN solution, and VMware virtualization software. The results of deploying Mainline Information Systems lower TCO.
