Energy Balancing Intelligent Clustering Protocol for Wireless Sensor Network
Source: Journal of Global Research in Computer Science (JGRCS)
Recent advances in microelectronics have made feasible the deployment of sensor networks for a variety of monitoring and surveillance tasks. The severe energy constraints met in such networks make imperative the design of energy efficient protocols for communication. One method is to use Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) links. The multiple antennas allow MIMO systems to perform pre coding (multi-layer beam forming), diversity coding (space-time coding), and spatial multiplexing. In this paper, the authors propose a Energy balancing intelligent clustering protocol based MIMO scheme which is an improvement of LEACH based MIMO scheme.
