Engineering Company Automates Processes and Reduces Costs With New Business Software
Source: Microsoft
IPSH is a major engineering company based in Malaysia. Founded in 1987, the company enjoyed rapid growth and expansion of key business areas. However the company's growth was placing a strain on its DOS-based accounting system, which it had used since its inception. Poor support and compatibility issues, as well as lengthy reporting processes and a high degree of manual work were costing IPSH in time and resources. Once the company hit RM20 million (U.S.$5,636,645) in revenue, the system could not cope with the workload and a decision was taken to find a replacement. After reviewing several options, the company selected Microsoft Dynamics GP, along with Microsoft FRx, as its accounting and financial reporting solution.
