Epicor Software Case Study: The Hinde Group

The Hinde Group provides a total design solution from concept to sourcing and delivery, a one-stop shop across a range of tourist gifts and novelty items to retailers, wholesale distributors, importers and leading theme parks and attractions around the world. In 2004, senior management at the Group started looking at how to streamline the business to improve productivity, reduce operating costs and stimulate growth. The Group became the first customer in the Ireland to implement Epicor Vantage 8- built using a true Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) that enables continuous performance initiatives, real-time connectivity between supply-chain applications and partners, and greater business agility for Make-To-Order (MTO) and mixed-mode manufacturers and distribution companies-as part of a major re-organisation of its business processes.
