Extend-It Starts Up a Cloud Service Business for the Channel With VMware VSphere Built on FlexPod

extend-it GmbH is a cloud service provider for IT services, IT infrastructures and application provisioning. Their challenge is to develop a flexible and secure data center infrastructure for cloud services. extend-it GmbH chose NetApp to overcome these challenges. They implemented Data center out of the box based on VMware vSphere Built on FlexPod. The results of deploying NetApp were enabled a wide range of cloud services, increased savings in the infrastructure, established a future-proof, scalable infrastructure in every way and achieved at least 50% less storage and cabling, reduced cost by 30% to 40%. Using FlexPod, the IT architecture generates actual added value for customers: an extensive service portfolio allows freedom of choice for service models from the infrastructure to the platform and software.
