F5's FirePass SSL VPN Part of Key Government Contractor's Initiative to Support Emerging Middle East Government

Of late, a large U.S. government agency contracted a leading global management and technology consulting firm to provide a wide range of services including Information and Communications Technology (ICT) support to a developing government in the Middle East. They wanted to create a cost-effective financial management infrastructure and develop a government-wide strategy to support the automation of budget execution. The challenge was to provide a secure means of connectivity for transactions and tracking. After an evaluation of possible solutions, the contracted firm selected F5's FirePass Controller as the SSL VPN solution for the project.
