The Peace Corps is a U.S. federal government agency dedicated to world peace and friendship, established in 1961. The Peace Corps wanted to enable global volunteers to collaborate and reduce network costs. The challenge was to minimize IT burden. The Peace Corps deployed a global VPN used Cisco Wide Area Application Services (WAAS) to optimize WAN bandwidth and accelerate application performance.
