First Business Wireless Network in Australia for Converged Voice and Data Services

Allegro Networks is one of Queensland's largest wireless broadband Internet Server Providers (ISPs). The challenge was to provide thousands of businesses in the outer metro and growth corridors across south-east Queensland with access to a high-speed network offering advanced broadband services, and particularly converged voice and data. Allegro Networks used Alvarion's BreezeMAX to introduce the first WiMAX deployment in Australia and establish a robust, affordable, and efficient advanced broadband network in regional Queensland.
