There is a need to develop a list of strong rewards, and give yourself these rewards on a regular basis as you accomplish small steps towards using a day planner effectively. Enlist your spouse, relatives, or friends to praise you as you experience success at each step. You may need to creatively break these steps down into even smaller steps to tailor them to your particular form of procrastination.
