Grupo Industrial Saltillo Consolidates Information and Improves Business Unit Operating Efficiency

Grupo Industrial Saltillo wanted to consolidate financial information to accelerate timely decision making throughout the organization and standardize accounting procedures in the manufacturing, engine and auto parts casting, and home products units to improve the company's operating efficiency. The challenge was to provide performance indicators in manufacturing and production to reduce operating costs and improve inventory control and rotation to enable timely payments to suppliers. Grupo Industrial Saltillo implemented a unified Oracle E-Business Suite application infrastructure, extending information visibility and worked with Oracle Partner Capgemini to consolidate financial procedures among the company's businesses with Oracle Financials, facilitating timely and informed decision making.
