Source: Cisco Systems
Baptist Health South Florida is the largest faith-based, not-for-profit health care organization in the Southeastern United States. Baptist Health South Florida created a cost-effective network for voice traffic and avoided the expense of expanding wiring closets. The challenge was are they able to migrate to 10 Gigabit Ethernet without equipment upgrades. All of the hospital's PBX voice traffic now travels over an optical network based on Cisco Catalyst 4900M Switches.
