Hosting Provider Implements Agile Infrastructure

Basefarm is one of Northern Europe's leading providers of web and applications hosting services. Basefarm wanted to improve operational efficiency, reduce power and cooling costs, and support more flexible business model. Basefarm chose cisco to overcome these challenges. They deployed Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS). The results of deploying UCS were reduction in time spent on data center administration by about two-thirds, reduction in operating costs and carbon footprint and creation of new revenue stream using different service model.
