Co-existing Exchange 2010 with Exchange 2007 may be confusing at first since Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010 objects are not visible in the other versions consoles. Each version of Exchange uses its own EMC to administrate version specific objects such as servers while some global settings may be managed either version of the EMC.
