How to Integrate Diverse Client Authentication Protocol With Various Authentication Means

There are various authentication means such as password, certificate and biometrics, which are used in many authentication systems. However, in general, most of authentication systems require one authentication factor due to lack of integrated protocol supporting various authentication means. In this paper the authors propose the new hybrid and integrated authentication protocol that enables user to choose his preferred authentication means. Their proposed protocol removes some weaknesses originated from each authentication means and its security is basically depends on key exchange via server authentication.
