HTML5 Adoption Still Slow but Interest Growing

Though recent surveys by IDC and Appcelerator show that only about 6% of apps deployed on iOS, Android, and Windows use HTML5, cross-platform development capabilities may help drive increased use. A hybrid of HTML5 code within a native app wrapper would provide greater flexibility for updates without sacrificing security.
