Hylsa's Bar and Rod Division Increases Efficiency and Profits From mySAP SCM With SAP APO (Advanced Planner & Optimizer)

Using SAP's Advanced Planner and Optimizer (SAP APO) planning suite which is the cornerstone of the mySAP Supply Chain Management (mySAP SCM) solution, specialty steel manufacturer Hylsa was able to increase efficiency and streamline its business processes in its Bar and Rod division. It reduced the supply planning process from three days to two hours, and raised on-time and in-full customer deliveries from 70 percent to 90 percent. Hylsa now plans to roll out SAP APO across the entire enterprise.
