The University of Wollongong offers leading-edge academic courses, world-class research programs, and maintains a commercial enterprise arm. It needed to improve university performance through a comprehensive integrated performance management system that communicates to the university community relevant and accurate information around the university's operational, tactical and strategic goals. It deployed IBM Cognos 8 using Report Studio for report building, Analysis Studio for analytical and drill-down capabilities, Metrics Studio for enterprise balanced scorecard and Cognos Planning for enterprise planning.
