Implementing Microsoft Cluster Server (MSCS) and Windows 2000/2003 Boot From IBM DS4000 SAN With Blade Servers
Source: IBM
This paper illustrates the detailed configuration procedure necessary to implementing Microsoft Cluster Server (MSCS) and Windows 2000/2003 operating systems with IBM blade servers attached to the IBM DS4000 storage subsystem in a Boot from San environment. The Boot from SAN configuration for the HS20, HS21, LS21, LS41 and HS40 blades is very similar; the only exception is the HS40 blade. The HS40 blade requires that one configure the boot device from the startup sequence options in the setup menu - accessed by breaking the boot sequence using the F1 key.
