Improving the Quality of Communications With Packet Loss Concealment

In digital transmission of speech and audio signals, lost or corrupted frames and packets can severely degrade audio quality at the receiver. A special technique known as Packet Loss Concealment (PLC) is used to compensate for these quality-robbing effects.
