Intersys Enables Next-Day Order Fulfillment and Achieves Return on Investment in One Year

Founded in 1962, Intersys SA is one of the largest companies in Greece in the information technology sector. Intersys SA wanted to deliver better and faster financial reports to senior management and reduce warehousing and inventory management costs. The challenge was to automate sales and order fulfillment processes, reduce administration costs and increase data accuracy by eliminating areas of manual data entry and improve customer service by processing and delivering orders faster and by enabling online inventory checking. The company reduced the time needed to process, assemble, and dispatch a customer order from four days to one day. It enabled warehouse staff to pick and move orders more quickly using barcode readers equipped with mobile/wireless access.
