Introduction to Data Analysis With Spreadsheets

In this physics laboratory one will use computer spreadsheets to record and analyze the data. This lab is a tutorial which teaches one about spreadsheets in general and specifically introduces a person to EXCEL. The first part of this write up discusses what a spreadsheet is and how it works. If a person is already comfortable with spreadsheets, one can skip this section. The next section specifically describes EXCEL. Once again, if a person is comfortable with EXCEL, he or she may skip to the exercise at the end.
