It Takes Two to Tango: Using Wi-Fi and WiMAX to Deliver Broadband Wireless Services to Fixed and Mobile Clients

This paper seeks to answer the questions from the viewpoint of a Wi-Fi network manager. The key questions are how soon WiMAX networks will be available, and how could WiMAX be made to work in conjunction with a Wi-Fi deployment. To reach conclusions, it is necessary to clear up many misconceptions that have arisen over the capabilities and timelines of WiMAX technology.
