JINR Cuts Project Design Time in Half, Including Turnaround on the Electromagnetic Undulator for the European X-Ray Laser XFEL

JINR is a world-known research center, whose main fields are theoretical and experimental studies in elementary particle physics, nuclear physics and condensed matter physics. JINR wanted to use advanced technology for innovative development, research and discoveries also wanted to promote international scientific cooperation for basic research in physics. To master these challenges JINR chose Siemens PLM software. JINR deployed Siemens Solid Edge software with synchronous technology. Solid Edge essentially cut design time in half, including on the electromagnetic undulate for the European X-Ray Laser Project XFEL.
