Joint Iterative Interference Cancellation and Detection for Broadband Wireless System
Source: University Graduate Center
A multi-carrier OFDM-CDMA with joint iterative interference cancellation and detection is proposed for downlink of the millimeter wavelength Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) system. The system uses a concatenation of the direct sequence spreading and the multi-carrier modulation to give time and frequency diversities; flexibility, robustness over the flat and frequency selective fadings. The joint iterative interference cancellation and detection algorithms, including the Parallel and Successive Interference Cancellations, increase the system's resistance against multiple spreading code (multicode) and multiple access interferences.
