JWIG: Yet Another Framework for Maintainable and Secure Web Applications
Source: Aarhus University
Although numerous frameworks for web application programming have been developed in recent years, writing web applications remains a challenging task. Guided by a collection of classical design principles, the authors propose yet another framework. It is based on a simple but flexible server-oriented architecture that coherently supports general aspects of modern web applications, including dynamic XML construction, session management, data persistence, caching, and authentication, but it also simplifies programming of server-push communication and integration of XHTML-based applications and XML-based web services.
