Knowledge-Rules Analysis and Specification Mechanism for Usability Patterns of Object Oriented Productline Software
Source: Narayanaguru College of Engineering
The work presented in this paper is motivated by then increasing realization in the software engineering community of the importance of software architecture for fulfilling quality requirements. The authors have presented a provisional assessment technique for usability based on scenarios, which has potential to improve current design for usability. The software engineering projects reveals that a large number of usability related change requests are made after its deployment. Fixing usability problems during the later stages of development often proves to be costly, since many of the necessary changes require changes to the system that cannot be easily accommodated by its software architectural design.
