Labour Organisation Improves Member Services With Standardised Operating System

AKNO, the Federal Chamber of Labour for Lower Austria, took advantage of a planned IT refresh in 2007 to migrate to the Windows Vista operating system and the 2007 Microsoft Office system. For the first time, the organisation has a standardised network with employees adopting a single system for records management and collaboration. AKNO now hopes to improve its membership services, especially in the run up to internal elections in 2009.
