Seattle University (SU) wanted to have short desktop computer lifecycles, difficult management of the desktop application environment, and high operating expenses and have inability to meet specific, real-time software application requests from professors, students, and college deans. The challenge was to disconnect between desktops, applications, and data within the data center. Seattle University (SU) implemented state-of-the-art Cisco Unified Computing System technology optimized for VMware and Virtual Desktop and enabled server management from single screen using unified computing system.
