Leading Healthcare Processor Stakes a Claim With SAP BusinessObjects Software

Emdeon, the leading processor of healthcare transactions in the United States, distributes up to 800,000 text-based reports a day. Emdeon wanted to deliver information rapidly and efficiently to external customers also they wanted to allow providers to view the status of any electronic claim. For this they turned to SAP. Emdeon uses SAP BusinessObjects XI solutions along with Emdeon Vision for customer tracking and trending. Emdeon is also ramping up its use of SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence software. Using the SAP BusinessObjects XI infrastructure, along with enhancing the databases themselves, they were able to create an application that is very fast and very easy to maintain.
