What is most important is to create a self paced course where adults can self-assess and self-correct. This can be accomplished by including questions or self-checks, practice exercises, and or simulations. It is important to include feedback in the interactively because the metacognition of adults involves self-correction. So if one has an interactive exercise question practice or simulation he has to give correct or incorrect feedback and tell learners about the correct answer and let them know if there is more than one way to solve the problem. It is important to include comparison between correct and incorrect answers connected to learner's prior experience. Designers can use examples or analogies effectively by knowing their audience.
