Source: Enterprise Strategy Group
In today's corporate environment, it is very hard not to think about e-mail. Thanks to PDAs and other technology, the ability to send and receive messages is always at finger tips. And, when one thinks of corporate e-mail, Microsoft Exchange and Outlook are usually the first applications that come to mind. Sure, there are other messaging applications such as Lotus Notes and Linux-based solutions, but Exchange and Outlook are as commonplace as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Exchange Server 2007 also introduces some new opportunities to help customers consolidate Mailbox Servers and expand mailbox sizes as faxes and voicemails become commonplace attachments within e-mails.
