Logistics Company Boosts Productivity With Familiar Desktop Applications

Raben Ukraine, part of Raben Group, provides services such as warehousing, customs clearance, international and national distribution, and logistics services for fresh products. When dealing with time-sensitive deliveries, employees have to produce shipping documents quickly. The company's open-source software was cumbersome to use and incompatible with common file formats used by other organisations - such as Raben Group offices in other countries - making it difficult to share information. Raben Ukraine chose to install Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 because of its compatibility with a wide range of formats and simple user interface. With support from Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Ekomtekh, the project went live in just one week.
