Lufthansa First in Flight to Launch Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Common Platform

Deutsche Lufthansa is one of the three largest airline companies in the world and the largest airline in Germany, flying passengers to 250 destinations worldwide. Airline needed a common IT platform to support new passenger service system. HP customized and deployed HP's Airline SOA, a middleware, messaging and security platform that allows the airline to interface, interoperate and integrate with business partners as well as other global airline systems through open standards.
