Pear Track launched a magnetically mounted self contained GPS tracking system at Multimodal 2009, ideal for a temporary asset tracking solution. The GPS/GSM device is discretely fitted to the outside of the container in a few seconds and has a 90 day rechargeable battery and tamper detection system. The PT-030 will be launched alongside the world's first self contained high security GPS tracking system with a 10 year battery life which is specifically designed for shipping containers.
