With the bank's infrastructure made up of 112 servers, the 400 square-foot data center space was tight. Response times were getting sluggish, and the costs of computing and power consumption were high. They chose Mainline Information Systems to overcome these challenges. Mainline recommended the consolidation of 60 legacy servers onto an IBM Blade Center H Chassis and seven IBM HS 21 Blades utilizing VMware. They also recommended two IBM System Storage SAN n3600 for storage and backup. The results of deploying to Mainline Information Systems solutions improved performance with increased response time. Reduced power consumption and footprint, recapturing valuable data center floor space. Reduced capital expenditures and lowered costs.
