The IBM Hardware Management Pack is imported easily into System Center Operations Manager (SCOM). Once installed, the SCOM discovery wizard can discover IBM System x Servers, Blades, and BladeCenter Systems. The IBM Hardware Management pack provides both in-band and out-of-band management. The IBM Director platform agent, in conjunction with the SCOM agent, provides in-band communications for managed servers.
