Online signature verification is one of the biometric features which can be used as a common method for identity verification. According to the previous studies, calculation of similarities between the signatures with an extended regression approach, as compared with the Euclidean distance and Dynamic Time Warping (DTW), gives a better measure of the similarity of two signatures. For this purpose the time length of the signals corresponding to the two signatures should be the same. Using of all point matching strategy to unify the time length of the signals reduce the distinction level between genuine and forged signatures.
