MATLAB Based Enhanced System for Online Data Acquisition and Processing of Iris

Biometrics refers to the automatic identification and authentication of individuality of a human being based on their iris data, retina data, face structure, voice, finger prints, etc. Biometrics basically consists of methods for uniquely recognizing humans based upon one or more intrinsic physical or behavioral traits. Nowadays iris detection and analysis systems have gained enormous importance in the field of Biometrics by allowing precise localization and matching of unique iris data of an individual. This is because the iris's rich texture offers a strong biometric cue for recognizing individuals plus its unique for every individual.
