Methods of Delivery for Distance Education

The methods of delivery for distance education are diverse and expansive. There are four major categories into which most of the systems fall. They are audio, video, data and print. As a course assignment, the author, along with a team of other students, examined the pros and cons of distance education vs. face-to-face instruction. In the process of completing that assignment, he learned that the degree of advantage of distance learning over face-to-face education varied with the distance learning delivery method employed.
