This paper specifies the security policy for the Microsoft Windows CE and Windows Mobile Enhanced Cryptographic Provider 5.00.911762, 5.01.01603 and 5.04.17228 (RSAENH) as described in FIPS PUB 140-2. Microsoft Windows CE and Windows Mobile Enhanced Cryptographic Provider 5.00.911762, 5.01.01603 and 5.04.17228 (RSAENH) is a general-purpose, software-based, cryptographic module for Windows CE and Windows Mobile. Like cryptographic providers that ship with Microsoft Windows CE and Windows Mobile, RSAENH encapsulates several different cryptographic algorithms in an easy-to-use cryptographic module accessible via the Microsoft CryptoAPI. It can be dynamically linked into applications by software developers to permit the use of general-purpose cryptography. Microsoft Windows CE and Windows Mobile Enhanced Cryptographic Provider 5.00.911762, 5.01.01603 and 5.04.17228 (RSAENH) meets the Level 1 FIPS 140-2 Validation requirements.
