Migrating an HP Serviceguard for Linux Cluster on VMware to Red Hat Cluster Suite for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
Source: Hewlett-Packard (HP)
This white paper is one of a series that describes a procedure to migrate an HP Serviceguard for Linux (SGLX) cluster to a Red Hat Cluster Suite (RHCS) cluster. This white paper covers transitioning from an SGLX cluster consisting of physical and VMware guests to an RHCS cluster. It is assumed that there is an existing SGLX cluster consisting of at least one VMware guest as a cluster node. The conversion can be done by completing the basic cluster migration based on the earlier white paper, but with a new fencing agent for the VMware guests.
