The possibility of using instruments developed by quantitative sciences in organization's product sales, operations and other activities management is analyzed in this paper wanting to make a consideration about the needs of quantitative knowledge in an education process of future managers. Discussions about the nature of management - whether it is science or arts have their impact on the structure of management teaching programs. Some of them pay the greatest attention to psychological issues in management: behavior and creativity, other - on quantitative analysis and simulation.
