The powerful new architecture of IIS 6.0 relies on techniques such as recycling of worker processes to ensure customer's applications are reliable and available. A brief discussion of recycling is done while the focus of this webcast is on the downfalls that exist with using recycling. Customer application's which rely on Active Server Pages in-process state (Application and Session) is lost upon a successful recycle. The webcast relies on providing customers a framework to maintain uptime while ensuring that customer's experience with their application is not lost. The topics discussed are centered around ASP.NET Session State service and how to configure and use successfully.
