MSDN Webcast: SharePoint Server 2010 (Part 8 of 8): Developing With Data Technologies in SharePoint 2010 (Level 100)
Source: Microsoft
Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 has several new and improved ways to work with data in SharePoint data lists. LINQ for SharePoint lets a developer work with data from SharePoint lists in a strongly typed way that preserves relationships between lists. Second, new integration of Microsoft ADO.NET data services provide a way to get data from SharePoint remotely using REST style web services. Finally, the new client APIs provide a programming model for SharePoint lists that does not have to run on the server. This webcast demonstrates how to code with each of these three new data-oriented features, and it shows some new SharePoint platform data-oriented features along the way.
