MSDN Webcast: Windows 7 Sensors and Location (Level 200)
Source: Microsoft
The Windows 7 operating system has changed how developers use sensors. Windows 7 includes native support for sensors and includes a new development platform for working with sensors, such as Global Positioning System (GPS) devices, an ambient light detector, or a temperature gauge, to create environmental awareness in Windows-based applications. Built on the Sensor and Location platform, the new Windows Location APIs make it possible for application developers to access a user's physical location information. In this webcast, the presenter explains what the Sensor and Location Platform is and how to work with its API.
